Phuket Water Park- More than 7 Free activities!

Water Park on a holiday? It’s a staple isn’t it? Even on a small island like Phuket there are multiple options to choose from. Is there anything that sets them apart from each other to make them the ultimate day out. I recently visited Blue Tree Phuket which offered much more than just slides. In this blog we will explore the exciting aspects of this park that I have not seen elsewhere.

Water Park- Blue Tree Phuket

The comfort and relaxation begins before you even reach the water park. Upon entering the Blue Tree complex you will check in and then be transported via free tuk tuk to the lagoon. Afterwards, you will receive warm welcomes and shown towards sunbeds, lockers and towels. Sunbeds are free to use but you have the option to upgrade for 1000 Baht which can be used for food and drink purchases. Additionally, you can rent a towel for 350 Baht and your money will be returned in exchange for the towel. Personally, I brought my own towel and used the free sunbeds to avoid unnecessary cost. The lockers are 120 baht and were necessary during the rainy season. Relaxation continued throughout the Blue lagoon.

Blue Lagoon

A vast blue paradise spreading the width of most of the park provided tranquil and holiday vibes. With swim up bars, hammocks and island sunbathing, what’s not to love? You can even take a rubber ring and float away with your daydreams.

Water Park Adrenaline

Often on day outs, extra fees start to add up, as more cool attractions convince you to purchase a ticket. At Blue Tree Phuket, that is not the case! All activities are included in the entrance price meaning you scored big with the awesome activities on offer.

  • Cliff jumping (4m and 10m)
  • Zipline across Blue Lagoon
  • Rock Climbing
  • Superfly (As seen online, this slide will have you soaring through the air)

Free and Fun

The excitement does stop there, with slightly less adrenaline needed but still all the amusement you can try

-Pool boxing

-Paddleboarding

-Archery

-Volleyball

One of my favourite finds at this park was the Ninja Assault course. Participating in an obstacle course like this in England costs £25 on its own but here it is included!! As long as you have dried, you can give this a go any time between 1pm- 7pm and as many times as you like. Obstacles include monkey bars, rope swings and of course the big walls.

Water Park Shows

Maybe this is standard in some countries, but I have never had the privilege of being entertained while at a water park. Blue Tree Phuket hold two shows everyday at 1pm and 4pm. The show includes professional cliff divers performing tricks from 10m high, synchronised swimming routines and high risk, high entertainment flips from the superfly slides. So captivating, that I watched it twice!

Shanni’s Top Tips

  1. Always look for deals! – Blue Tree often has promotions such as buy 2 tickets, get 1 free. If you are a Thai resident or have work permit like myself, it is only 650 Baht
  2. Spend the whole day there!- There is so much to do, take full advantage of every activity
  3. Take a waterproof phone case- Now you can get video evidence of you cliff jumping from 10m!

Blue tree Phuket is an amazing opportunity to try new things, face fears and have fun as well as time left over to touch up the tan. With everything included in the ticket price, it is more than worth it and will only exceed your expectations.
