Validating your ticket
BUS- Scan QR code on the bus
TRAMS– Scan the QR code at the tram stop if there is one, or on the tram
METRO- Scan QR code at one of the stands throughout the station or on the platform before boarding

Shanni’s Top Tips
- Most of Budapest is walkable, so look at the route and decide if you need a day pass or just a single ride
- If you ride without activating your ticket you may be fined
- Arriving by Flixbus- Take the metro from the Nepliget Station, ride into the centre and get off at Deak Ferenc Ter
- If you are travelling in a group of up to 5 people, you can purchase a group day pass for 5000HUF (£10.78)
- The passes cover all forms of transport with the same ticket
